School Meals
Our menus aim to make eating in school an enjoyable experience for your child. We adopt the school meal standards set out by the Department for Education. These school food standards are intended to help children develop healthy eating habits and ensure that they get the energy and nutrition they need across the whole school day.
Paying for school meals
"We will email you instructions on how to set up 'SIMs Pay' to pay for school meals"
Meals are paid for via the online system "SIMs Pay". Instructions on how to set up your online account will be emailed to you after your child has started at Rosebank.
If you haven't received an email in your child's first week, please ask for instructions at the school office. We unfortunately are unable to accept cash for school meals.
Free School Meals
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive free school meals. For children in Nursery and Year 3, 4, 5, 6, meals cost £2.40 per day or £12 per week.
Free school meals are available for those families who are eligible and can provide a letter as evidence. Check if you are eligible and find out how to apply by visiting https://www.gov.uk/apply-free-school-meals
If your child was receiving free school meals at their previous school, you can transfer your eligibility to Rosebank by phoning Leeds Council on Tel: 0113 222 4444 to update the council they have moved.
Support for Asylum Seekers
If you are currently receiving National Asylum Seekers Support (NASS), you do not need to fill in a claim form for free school meals.
Please bring in your Home Office letter to show the school office and we can contact Welfare and Benefits on your behalf. The letter should confirm your:
