Requesting extra hours
The school manages its own Nursery admissions. Our Nursery caters for children in the Foundation Stage, between the ages of 2 and 4 years.
Two year old Nursery
Children start our two year old nursery the term after their 2nd birthday. Some children are entitled to 15 hours of childcare, dependent on eligibility. Rosebank Nursery can check eligibility via the LCC Family Information Service four weeks prior to the child’s start date.
Alternatively, parents/carers can contact the LCC Family Information Service
directly via https://familyinformation.leeds.gov.uk
Sessions can be paid for where parents/carers are not eligible and are currently £20 per session/half day.
Three year old Nursery
Children start the three year-old nursery on their 3rd birthday or after. They do not need to wait for the start of a term. Sessions will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and depending on availability. All children are eligible for 15 hours of childcare. Some children are entitled to 30 hours of childcare, dependent on eligibility. Rosebank Nursery do not implement 30 hours eligibility checks, instead parents/carers are required to apply directly via the government website by visiting https://www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare
Parents/carers can apply from when their child is 2 years and 36 weeks
old. Eligibility must be reconfirmed every three months.
Extra hours can be paid for where parents/carers are not eligible and are currently £15 per session/half day.
Please be aware that for paid places in both 2 and 3 year old nursery, sessions will still be charged for if the child is absent.
